The Last City - ROKR's Futuristic Marble Run Backup Without cta button
Join us to witness multiple marbles speeding through an industrial steampunk and neon-lit world.
Have you heard of marble runs? They are fascinating structures where balls travel through various tracks, ramps, tunnels, and obstacles to get to the end.
THE LAST CITY
Welcome to the extraordinary, futuristic urban landscape that is The Last City. This parallel world is set in the universe of industrial steampunk and neon lights. High-rise buildings are built on a backdrop of pipelines, factories, and sharp bends, bearing witness to the frantic chase embarked by multiple speeding marbles.
ROKR’s take on the famous marble run is unique in that you have to build it first. But not to worry, the assembly process for The Last City takes only a couple of hours or less, and the satisfaction when done is astounding.
THE FUTURE CITY
The Future City is a science fiction city from a world of fantasy. The tracks spread from the top. With blue, pinkish-purple, and orange-red lights, the marbles pass the diverter, fall into the symmetrical X-shaped suspended tracks, roll through the ring-encircled tunnel, and reach the U-shaped high track finally. The whole model looks like a cyberpunk-style city with a bustling street scene and complex tracks to bring you a totally new and exciting experience.
About The Last City
- Automatic Marble Ascent
The Last City features a staircase that automatically transports the metal balls upwards in synchronized fashion, looking like perfect soldiers marching up a dark highway before they’re deployed into the futuristic cityscape.
- 10-Minute Movement Mode
The movement mode activates the staircase on the side, allowing continuous play as the marbles circulate through the structure in a high-octane race. There are infrared sensors that trigger the cool global lighting effects as the marbles pass through them.
- Glow Show
The viewing mode leaves the ambient light on. This can be turned off by the switch.
- Starlight Vortex
The tunnel features a double-sided mirror reflection system with an annular halo, creating the illusion of a starry abyss at the heart of the city.
- City Landmarks
Other special features of The Last City include the 186 cm expressway, the Bus Street sharp bend, and the Midtown Factory District. A special attribute is the spiral acceleration jumping platform which is a thrilling jumping cliff between downtown and mid-level, leading to the final stage of the journey.
About The Future City
- Marble Diverter
After passing the top track, marbles will fall into different tracks randomly with the clever design of the diverter mechanism.
- X-shaped Suspended Tracks
The zone has two same suspended tracks, forming a symmetry with each other and looking like an X shape. Distributed marbles will pass through these two tracks respectively.
- Ring Encircled Tunnel
The tunnel has a creative enclosed style structure, surrounded by multiple rings. During the marble running, blue and purple breathing lights add a touch of mystery and fantasy.
Simply Snap and Start
The Last City is a modular assembly kit that can be easily built in about 90 minutes. These puzzles are made of high-quality materials with pieces that snap together perfectly so you can do away with the glue and tools.
Careful Craftsmanship
This model’s manufacturing process consists of over ten steps, including low-pressure spray painting, special pad printing, and textured oil painting to ensure a layered feel.
Extension Methods: Connecting The Last City & The Future City
The Last City is the first kit in a proposed series. Being insatiably curious thinkers, we envision an elaborate network of futuristic-themed marble runs laid out side by side and stacked upwards. Fortunately, a new assembly kit named "The Future City," a technology-centric metropolis, has entered the testing phase. It will seamlessly integrate with "The Last City," bringing even more charm to this series. The marbles will be connected by special highways and ramps that allow different configurations, amping up the fun and excitement in an already thrilling journey.
There are round entrances on both sides of the marble run so that marbles can enter from the side lift module in the horizontal extension and vertical stacking.
Horizontal Extension
Put a lift module in the middle and secure it with connectors. While running, the lift module will carry marbles to the top and make them enter into marble runs on both sides.
Vertical Stacking
Secure two lift modules on one side. While running, the lift module will carry marbles to the top. Then marbles enter the upper marble run, roll through the lower marble run and finally return back to the lift module.
Four Grid Stacking
Connect two lift modules vertically and assemble marble runs on both sides of lift modules. While running, the lift modules will carry marbles to the top. Then marbles enter the upper two marble runs, roll through the lower marble runs and return back to the lift module.
